Poco X2 is the first smartphone of the Poco brand in the Indian market after separating from Xiaomi. Poco entered the market almost a year ago with the Poco F1. After a long wait, the company has again entered the mid-range segment. With an initial price of INR 17,499, the Poco X2 closely matches the already launched Redmi K30 in China. The phone is expected to launch in Nepal as well. The expected price of POCO X2 in Nepal is Rs. 29,999 for the base variant of 6/64 GB. POCO X2 Details

Poco X2 is one of the best mid-range phones that comes with 120 Hz display, Quad rear cameras, dual selfie cameras, 8 GB RAM, and up to 256 GB storage. The company has launched this product in the market in response to Realme X2 and Vivo S1 Pro. The Poco X2 has a 4,500 mAh battery with fast charging of 27 watts. It has a 3D curved back design with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.

POCO X2 Design and Display

While it comes to the design of this handset, the phone is an A-Z copy of Redmi K30. There is no difference in design with the K30 expect from colors. There is a dual-camera pilled shaped hole at the front with an almost bezel-less display. There is a circular camera mount with cameras arranged in a rectangular array at the rear. The rear camera placement design is also copied by the latest Redmi 9.

POCO X2 Design

It has a 6.67-inch full-HD (1080x2400 pixels) pill-shaped punch-hole display. The aspect ratio is 20: 9 and it is equipped with a 91 percent screen to body ratio. The phone is secured by Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection on either side and comes with a 120Hz refresh rate display.

POCO X2 Hardware and Specs

With the powerful chipset and fast RAM, it is one of the fastest mid-range phones available in the market right now. It is powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 730G chipset and is coupled with LPDDR4 RAM. There are three variants of the phone based on storage and RAM - 6/64GB, 6/128GB and 8/256GB. For the graphics, there is Adreno 618 GPU. The storage on the phone is UFS 3.0 which is even better for games and media transfer.

On the software side, the POCO X2 runs on the MIUI 11.0 based on Android 10. It is based on the POCO launcher which different from Xiaomi’s other smartphones.

POCO X2 Camera

The Poco X2 is equipped with Quad rear cameras. The camera module is in a vertical position but the edge of the camera setup is circular. There is a 64 megapixel Sony IMX686 sensor as a primary shooter at the rear with an aperture of f/1.89. Furthermore, the phone has a 2-megapixel macro lens, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and an 8-megapixel sensor with a 120-degree wide-angle. The rear camera setup of this phone is almost identical to that of Poco F2 Pro.

The phone is yet to release in Nepal. The expected price of Poco X2 in Nepal is Rs. 29,999 for 6/64GB, Rs. 32,999 for 6/128GB and the top-most variant is expected to cost Rs. 39,999.
