POCO F2 Pro Launched - Price in Nepal and Features

The most awaited successor of Foco F1 has finally launched. The new Poco F2 Pro the latest flagship smartphone of the Poco brand. At first sight, the appears as the rebranded version of the Redmi K30 Pro which was launched in China in March 2020. The new handset looks aesthetically appealing and comes with great features. The phone is launched at the price of 499 Euros and this is the price of the base variant of 6/128 GB. The expected price of POCO F2 Pro in Nepal is Rs. 74,999 for 6/128 GB model.

POCO F2 Pro Details

Talking about the key features, the all-new Xiaomi Poco F2 Pro comes with a pop-up selfie camera and quad rear camera setup. The phone runs on the latest and most powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset. Talking about other features, the F2 Pro has a gradient back panel and the company’s proprietary liquid cooling technology. Poco F2 Pro also has 5G support.

POCO F2 Pro Design and Display

The Xiaomi Poco F2 Pro looks very appealing with its gradient colors. The phone has a bezel-less display, thanks to the pop-up selfie camera. There is a unique looking camera placement at the back in which the lens is organized in a square within a circular camera placement. This looks almost similar to the OnePlus 7T but it has three cameras.

The Xiaomi Poco F2 Pro features a 6.67-inch full-HD+ display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The Super AMOLED display has support for HDR 10+ content. The 20:9 aspect ratio display is quite a standard these days and Poco F2 Pro is not an exception here. The display of the phone is almost comparable to that of Mi Note 10 Lite.

With the powerful chipset and fast RAM, it is one of the fastest phones available in the market right now. It is powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 865 and is coupled with LPDDR5 RAM. There are two variants of the phone based on storage and RAM - 6/128GB and 8/256GB. For the graphics, there is Adreno 640 GPU. The storage on the phone is UFS 3.1 which is even better for games and media transfer.

On the software side, the POCO F2 Pro runs on the MIUI 11.0 based on Android 10. It is based on the POCO launcher which different from Xiaomi’s other smartphones.

POCO F2 Pro Camera

The Poco F2 Pro comes with Quad cameras at the back. The primary camera is 64 megapixels, in which the Poco has used Sony IMX686 sensor. Similarly, it has a 13-megapixel wide-angle lens, a 5-megapixel macro camera, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The rear camera setup on these smartphones is almost identical to that of Realme X3 SuperZoom, which also has a Quad camera along with 64MP primary sensor.

For the selfies and video calls, the phone has a 20-megapixel pop-up selfie camera which it burrowed from Redmi K20 Pro.

The starting price of Poco F2 Pro is EUR 499 for 6 GB + 128 GB storage variants. Its 8 GB + 256 GB storage variants costs EUR 599. The expected price of Poco F2 Pro in Nepal is Rs. 74,999 for the base variant and Rs. 89,999 for 8/256GB variant. Xiaomi has recently launched Mi 10 5G in Nepal which is also a great option for this phone right now. F2 Pro is available in four color variants - Cyber Gray, Electric Purple, Neon Blue, and Phantom White.
