During the festive season, Huawei’s sub-brand Honor has launched its new smartphone Honor 8X in Nepal. The new Honor 8X is an upgrade of the company’s popular Honor 7X. The phone offers a great camera and is powered by a powerful chipset. Honor 8X was launched in India at INR 14,999 for 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage variants. The price of Honor 8X in Nepal is Rs. 21,999 for 4/64GB and Rs. 30,500 for 4/128GB variant.

Honor 8X Details

Talking about the features of Honor 8X, the phone has a notched display like the iPhone X. The phone features with artificial intelligence camera which detects scenes. Users will get features like AR stickers, Portrait mode, HDR, and super night scene in the camera app.

Honor 8X Design and Display

Honor 8X has a 6.5-inch full HD + with a resolution of 1080x2340 pixels. The display on the phone is a TFT IPS display. It has an aspect ratio is 18.7: 9 and a pixel density of 397 ppi. Another great thing about the display is, it has a ~84% screen-to-body ratio which is pretty big for viewing contents.

There is a Glass front, plastic back with a plastic frame. The phone looks premium with its notched display and with a dual-camera setup. The color on the phone is magical and eye-catching. The length-width of Honor 8X is 160.4x76.6x7.8 millimeters.

Dual-SIM (Nano) Honor 8X runs on Android 8.1 Oreo-based on EMUI 8.2.0. For speed and multitasking, the Honor 8X has options of 4 GB and 6 GB RAM with the HighSilicon Kirin 710 processor. There are two storage options - 64 GB and 128 GB. As we told you earlier, Honor 8X will have three variants which are based on RAM and storage - 4 GB RAM / 64 GB storage, 6 GB RAM / 64 GB storage, and 6 GB RAM / 128 GB storage.

Honor 8X Camera

Talking about the optics of the Honor 8X, the phone features dual camera setup on the rear, with a primary sensor of 20 megapixels and the 2 megapixels secondary sensor. The primary camera has an aperture of f/1.8 which is ideal for low light photography as well. There is also an LED flash on the back panel for better picture quality.

A 16-megapixel front camera is available for selfie and video calling. The front camera has an aperture of f/2.0. Honor has added a 48MP camera with two other lenses in Honor 9X.

Honor 8X Battery and Connectivity

There is a 3,750 mAh battery for power backup. Honor has started to include a huge battery in new phones like Redmi Note 8 Pro and Redmi Note 9 Pro.

The connectivity options on the Honor 8X includes WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth version 4.2, GPS / A-GPS, Micro-USB, and 3.5mm headphone jack is available.

Later the price was dropped and the new price of Honor 8X in Nepal is Rs. 21,999 for 4/64GB and Rs. 30,500 for 4/128GB variant.
