Facebook has unveiled Facebook Pay in Brazil as a digital payment gateway. Mark Zuckerberg, founder, and CEO of Facebook said that Brazil is the first country to start paying from WhatsApp.

WhatsApp users will be able to pay through WhatsApp. Facebook has launched a payment system to support small businesses through WhatsApp. Zuckerberg has mentioned that now money can be exchanged just like sharing photos and videos through WhatsApp.

The company plans to use Facebook Pay as a secure and reliable payment service for all its apps. For this, the company has now partnered with local banks such as Banco do Brasil, Nu Bank, Secridi, and Silo.
