Asus ROG Phone 2, which was earlier launched in India has finally made its way to Nepal. Asus introduced its latest gaming phone at an event held in New Delhi earlier. The next generation gaming handset from Asus is a dream phone for every smartphone gamer and now it is available in Nepal. Although there is now an official distributor for Asus phone in Nepal, the phone was first spotted in Daraz.com. The price of the handset it set very high rather than the expected price. The price of the phone in India is Rs. 39,999 for the base variant of 8/128GB. The price of Asus Rog Phone 2 in Nepal is Rs. 81,600 in Daraz but now the phone seems to be out of stock.
Asus ROG Phone 2 Details
Asus ROG Phone 2 is a powerful and performing gaming smartphone. The phone comes with Snapdragon 855+ processor, up to 12 GB RAM, and 512 GB UFC 3.0 inbuilt storage. Asus Rog Phone 2 comes with upgraded ultrasonic air triggers 2 for gaming and in-display fingerprint sensor. The display of this phone is equipped with a 120 Hz refresh rate.

Asus ROG Design and Display
Asus ROG Phone 2 is undoubtedly a true gaming phone with a brilliant display. The phone comes with a 6.59-inch full-HD + (1080x2340 pixels) AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 1ms response time, and 10-bit HDR support. The panel has a contrast ratio of 100,000: 1 and is protected with Gorilla Glass 6.
The phone has an outstanding design for consistency during the prolonged period of the gaming session. The phone has a combination of metal and glass finish. At the back is an air vent on the side with a glowing ROG logo at the center. There is a dual-camera setup at the left top corner of the phone.
For the connectivity of external hardware, there is a dual USB port: one at the bottom and one on the side. The side-mounted USB port can be used for connecting further accessories and charging the device while using the phone. Talking about the length and width of the phone, it is 170.99x77.6x9.78 millimeters and weighing 240 grams.

Asus Rog Phone 2 gaming phone was first launched in July and the phone runs on Rogue UI based on Android Pie. The phone is powered by a 2.9 GHz Snapdragon 855 Plus processor with up to 12 GB of RAM and up to 512 GB of UFS 3.0 internal storage for speed and multitasking. The phone has two storage variants - 128 GB and 512 GB. The Rogue Phone 2 has dual front stereo speakers with DTS: X Ultra support. Realme recently launched Realme X3 and Realme X3 SuperZoom which same chipset at very competitive pricing.
The phone is a biggest competitor of the Xiaomi’s Black Shark 2.

The camera of Rogue Phone 2 has been improved from the previous generation of ROG Phone. The new ROG Phone II comes with a 48-megapixel primary Sony IMX586 sensor and a 13-megapixel secondary wide-angle camera. On the front, the phone has a 24MP Selfie Shooter with f/2.0 aperture and features like Auto, Portrait, and 8 different Filters.
